Seminar of CTL University of Piraeus

The Coordinator of the Centre for Teaching and Learning of the University of West Attica, Prof. I. Psaromiligkos, in collaboration with Lt. Prof. D. Papakyriakopoulos of the Department of Business Administration and Dr. Th. Anagnostopoulos Special Faculty of the same University, participated in the conference of the Centre for Teaching and Learning of the University of Piraeus. The seminar was organized on Tuesday 26 September by the University of Piraeus hybrid. The title of the seminar was “The contribution of the KEDIMA to the effective support of teaching and learning in higher education“.
 
Professors I. Psaromiligkos, D. Papakyriakopoulos and Th. Anagnostopoulos presented their paper entitled “Investigation of students’ graduation delay using categorization and data mining techniques“. As part of their presentation, they presented their model for investigating student graduation delay using categorization and process mining techniques. During their presentation, they pointed out that CTLs can make a significant contribution to supporting academic departments and universities in general in terms of improving the effectiveness and quality of teaching in higher education.
